Overview
概述 

第二屆船到橋頭生活節將於今年11月舉行，現公開徵集計畫，以納入生活節中。我哋歡迎島民、藝術家、設計師、環保人士、歷史學家、人類學家、手工者、建築師和任何受到島嶼啟發嘅人申請，亦非常歡迎新舊島民同我哋集思廣益，尋找生活節不同計畫的合適地點。

We are now calling for projects to be included in the second edition of the Festival scheduled for November 2023!


We encourage island residents, artists, designers, environmentalists, historians, anthropologists, crafts-wo-men, architects, and anyone inspired by the islands’ spirit to apply. We are particularly eager to receive ideas from current or past residents of locations.

Details of the Festival
船到橋頭生活節詳情

日期：2023年11月的四個週末

地點：坪洲、長洲、梅窩、芝麻灣各處以及島間海域

Period: 4 weekends in November 2023

Venue: Various locations on Peng Chau, Cheung Chau and Lantau Island’s Mui Wo and Chi Ma Wan, and the sea in between

徵集詳情

計劃書可以個人、組合或團體名義提交。每個單位可提交多於一份計劃書，以英文或中文書寫。

請填妥此Google Form，於2023年5月15日（星期一）上午0時1分至2023年6月18日（星期日）下午11時59分提交。逾期提交將不受理。

An application can be submitted by a person or a group. Each person or group can submit more than one proposal in either English or Chinese. We welcome English so all our team members can see : )

Please fill in the Google Form from 00:01 of 15 May 2023, Monday to 23:59 of 18 June 2023, Sunday, Hong Kong time (GMT+8). Late submission will not be considered.

Criteria
準則：

計劃若有以下特點為佳：

• 無障礙 ：題材貼地、平易近人、好玩，令不同的島民都能夠參與。
  
  
• 島上人才：現居住在生活節其中一個地方的個人/團體，或曾在其中一個或者多個地方工作過的個人/團體。
  
  
• 社區參與：從製作階段到節目呈現，與當地團體或學校合作緊密合作。

Preferences:

The Festival would particularly like to see projects that cover one (or more) of the following:

• Accessibility: down-to-earth, accessible yet playful proposals to be enjoyed by the diversity of island residents; 

• Island talents: individuals / groups who live in one of the locations of the Festival, or have worked with one or more of the locations;

• Community involvement: collaboration with local organizations or schools from production phase to Festival presentation;

研究現有的海上連接或提議生活節期間可能的海上連接

非人類：
採用以非人類為中心的路徑，或以構成我們環境的非生物角度出發，為居住在同一片土地的其他物種發展空間。

岩石生態：
研究島際海岸岩石棲息地和其棲息動物。

離島音樂和表演：
研究本地具體種類的歷史和發展

Life on the islands:
enquire specific aspects of life on the islands–history, social, cultural;

The Inter-island sea:
theme of Inter-island Festival 2023;

Island connection:
working on the existing connections or proposing connections for the Festival duration;

Non-humans:
adopt and develop on a non-human centric path, giving space for other species residing in this territories, or taking the viewpoint of non-living elements that make our environment;

Rocky-shore ecology:
work on the rocky-shore habitats and their inhabitants around the inter-island sea;

Island music and performance:
investigate the history and development of specific genre on the region;

Borders:
from the visible border between land/sea to the limits of the humanly-accessible territory–how to see/sense/know when we’ve gone too far individually and collectively;
Navigation: work on the different ways to read the sea/landscape to find one’s direction;

Media & form:
媒介及形式

不限，可以是導賞團、工作坊、裝置、表演、遊戲等；

若計劃是個活動，須考慮時間及場次；

若計劃是件實體作品，須考慮如何讓作品於生活節期間保留；

Media is not limited
e.g. tour, workshop, installation, performance, game etc;

Event-based projects:
please consider the time and number of slots to cater both island residents and visitors;

Object-based projects:
please consider a set up that could ideally stay for the whole period

Target audience:
目標受眾

請標明你的目標受眾；
鼓勵有包容性，且小朋友和老人家都可以參與的計畫。

Please specify your target audience;
Projects that are inclusive, kids-friendly, elders-friendly are encouraged.

Location:
地點

請提議一個計劃發生的理想地點；
鼓勵使用公共和未被充分利用的空間；
歡迎可巡迴的作品；

如你的計畫被選中，我們亦可建議地點。

Please propose an ideal location(s) for the proposal; 
Use of public and underused spaces is encouraged; 
Itinerant works are encouraged; 
We can also propose location(s) if your project is selected. 

Size:
大小

不限，但更歡迎小規模的計劃。
以暫時性和靈活為佳。

Not limited, but small-scale interventions are more welcome;
Play on portability and ephemera are encouraged.

Number of selections:
選取計劃數目

生活節會為四個地點共選出20個計畫，最終遴選數量會根據計畫的地點、資源和類別而定。

Around 20 projects for all locations; the final number of selections will be based on the locations, resources, and the varieties of the proposals.

Support from the Festival:
計劃支援

(1) 研究和技術支援；
(2) 行政支援；
(3) 宣傳；
(4) 不多於HKD10,000的物料費，視計劃內容而定。

不包含保險。

備註：
請留意計劃是否安全可行；
於遞交計劃書前，宜先到相關地點視察（若不住在該地）。

(1) Research and technical assistance;
(2) administration;
(3) promotion; and
(4) a material fee of a maximum of HKD10,000 on a case-by-case basis.

Insurance is not covered.

Remarks: 
Please be aware of the feasibility of the proposals; 
Interested individuals / groups are strongly encouraged to visit the islands and/or talk with people living on the islands if not living there yet.
